We studied English II EOC scores across 36 North Carolina high schools. Half the schools used Albert for English Language Arts (ELA) practice, and half did not. We matched them on demographics, school size, and academic performance to see how consistent practice impacts student success.
While average usage showed solid results, the schools that really embraced the platform saw huge returns. The top 10 highest-usage schools achieved a proficiency rate of 73.7%, 14.3 percentage points higher than the state average of 59.4%.

These high-usage schools didn't just beat the state average; they also outperformed similar schools that didn't use Albert by over 6 points.
The study found a very strong statistical link between the number of weeks students practiced ELA on Albert and their final scores. This confirms that Albert works best as a long-term partner in the classroom, not just a last-minute review tool.
